The Visual Style of Canoe Races in Týn nad Vltavou

I focused on design of information and promotional materials of Canoe Marathon World in Tyn nad Vltavou. I concentrated mainly on the failures of the current visual style and proposed new solutions. The key is to design a new logo and its modifications, which will be put to use in a slight variation in the coming years. Art themes based on specific objects, materials and phenomena (lamina structure, paddles, movement) are simplified into almost abstract forms.

Bachelor thesis Non-sporting Topics on TV Studios of ČT sport and TV Nova during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 deals with non-sporting topics in the pre-match studios of ČT sport and TV Nova during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The selected pair of media outlets represent the only owners of the broadcasting rights for the the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the Czech Republic. It is also a comparison of sport's broadcasting on public and commercial TV. The research is conducted during the entire course of the football championship, that is all pre-match studios of both TV stations from 20th November to 18th December 2022. The theoretical part focuses on the position of sport and football in media. It also describes selected non-sporting topics from the history of sports journalism as well as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The quantitative content analysis identifies and compares the total time spent debating non-sporting topics with the rest of the sports discussion. It also follows the incidence and frequency of non-sporting topics on ČT sport and TV Nova. The qualitative content analysis attempts to describe the process of these non-sporting discussions and tries to find similarities or differences in the way they are conducted.

TITLE: Alpine Skiing World Cup Organization Benefits in Relation to Špindlerův Mlýn Municipality AUTHOR: Bc. Petr Černý FACULTY: Faculty of Physical Education and Sport SUPERVISOR: Dr.. Libor Flemr, Ph.D. ABSTRACT This study focuses on the town of Spindleruv Mlyn, which is currently the largest, highest- rated, but also the most expensive ski resort in the Czech Republic and holds TOP ski resort, which in recent years as the only winter resort tried to host the World Cup in Alpine skiing women, in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom women. Spindleruv Mlyn organized racing elite women's series for the first time in December 2005 and again in January 2008. Premiere World Cup Giant was initially held back in 2003, but then defeated the plans of the organizers of the lack of snow. A success for the next SP in Spindleruv Mlyn took place in March 2011. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the benefits for town of Spindleruv Mlyn (hence the whole county, region and Czech Republic) may have held such events as the World Cup in Alpine Skiing. Method: The calculation method was used a questionnaire comprising mainly by promoting the values that the organization of the event took place, but the city at the cost involved only a small fraction, so the effects are huge. Title: The most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the world. Objectives: The main aim of this work is to find out which the most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the word. Define a list of the most commomnly used techniques before the rules change and after the rules change. Furthermore to find out the most commonly used techniques by countries in these competitions. Methods: The author used various methods of data collection and the analysis of technical bibliografy which was focused on general sports preparations, obseravation method, analysis of documents captured in the written or videos form. The materials and the bibliografy were analyzed and structured according to applicability to the specific subjects. Results: The results of this paper emphasize the most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the word before the change rules of judo is technique seoi nage and after the change rules is uchi mata. Among the most technical of the country in these competitions include Japan, Korea and Russia. Football world cup on the screens of Czechoslovak television: Progress of live broadcasting from England 1966 to Italy 1990

Diploma thesis "Football World Cup on the screens of Czechoslovak television : progress of live broadcasting matches from England 1966 to Italy 1990" deals with television interpretation of World Cup broadcasting by Czechoslovak television. There is also mentioned progress of Sport department of Czechoslovak television since the beginning. Author has illustrated participation of audiovisual media from the first World cup in 1930. He brings schedule of broadcasting of Czechoslovak television from each World Cup in the main period under consideration from 1966 to 1990. He takes notice of work of football commentators and also of structure of broadcasting. There is used historical analysis to observe the progress of number commentators and other television workers who were on World Cup, number of live broadcasting matches or recording matches. There is also some comparison with foreign televisions.
Media image of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in CT Sport

This Bachelor Thesis "Media image of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in CT Sport" deals with the overall concept of championship, that took place in China, and its presentation in CT Sport. The goal of this thesis is detailed analysis of television broadcasts and the work of moderators, reporters and commentators. The theoretical part defines the news values, concept of agenda-setting, framing and also insight into patriotism and mythology. There is description of the Czechoslovak history and Czech basketball, furthermore the first live stream and the process of basketball broadcasting in Czech televisoin. This basketball broadcast is being explored using qualitative content analysis. The results of the analysis describe the media image of the Basketball World Cup, how the pre-game studios took place, how much space was given to reports and interviews, and what was the role of commentators.

Name: Management of major orienteering events Goal: The main goal of this thesis is to determine and summarize basic managerial methods important for successful organization of major sporting events, with focus on orienteering. These methods will be described more in detail to support potential organizers of main orienteering events and so to help to bring professionalism to delivery of the event. Methods: In this work a mixed method approach was used for the data collection as well as for analysis of collected data. Information about events were collected through questionnaires, analyzed with basic statistic methods such as mean, median or correlation and visualized in graph. Correlations were critically evaluated considering logical interrelation of two variables. Results: The results showed a crucial role in success of any orienteering event plays functionality of organizing committee - its satisfaction, commitment and coherence. Even though, organizing committees doesn't necessarily have any professional education in sport event management, years of organizing national and grass root events gave them enough experience to organize successfully major orienteering events, considering their own objectives. Name: Analysis of offensive futsal combinations and their practice Aims: The diploma thesis aims to analyse the offensive game combinations of an elite futsal FIFA team from the point of view of the progression of the match, with focus on its training methods. Methods: The thesis expertly evaluates video recordings of Kazakhstan team from its impersonal and structured observing. To interpret the data, qualitative approach was used, as based on notational analysis and graphical diagrams. Results: The thesis records the game co-operations which are the most important to successfully finish the offensive. It discovers several variations of gradual offensive with the emphasis on the detail of its execution. It also describes and illustrates the scheme of the "power play." Monitoring the performance of Czech athletes thre years before and after the introduction of the Central European Cup in ski mountaineering

3 Abstract Title of the thesis: Monitoring the performance of Czech three years before and three years after the introduction of the Central European Cup in ski mountaineering Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the performance of the Czech Republic representation in ski mountaineering at the World Cup three years before and three years after the introduction of the Central European Cup (SEP) in 2016 and find out if SEP really contributed to the increase in the success of Czech competitors at the World Cup. Methods: This work is conceived as an empirical-theoretical research work. The research group consists of representatives of the Czech Re- public in ski mountaineering who participated in the World Cup from the racing season 2012-13 until 2017-18. I compared their total points earnings on the World Cup before and after the introduction of SEP and as a comparative test I used Mann-Whitney U test. Results: According to the total number of points earned in the whole season, it is assumed that the competitors were more successful before SEP was established. According to the comparative Mann-Whitney U test, the difference between pre and post SEP data is not significant.
